EAD expiring PLEASE HELP!!!!

My EAD is expiring soon. I applied just a month back. I delayed it thinking that I-485 would be approved by now. But the new FBI- name check is delaying the process. INS already transferred the EAD-renewal case to the local office. Is there a way to get the EAD-renewal approved by going to the local office? PLEASE HELP!!

You are eligible for iEAD at local office if your EAD application has been pending with INS for 90 days. If that's not the case - well, it's worth a shot, but from what I have heard, the chances are slim... you did mention that EAD has been already transfered to local INS office, correct? I have never heard of them actually doing that. What's the reason exactly? You might want to talk to your lawyer or inquire at local INS office regarding your options there...
