EAD expiring in less than 90 days

My current EAD is getting expired in less than 90days. I am goingahead with efiling to save on application date. If I do not get my new EAD before current one expires, can I go to local INS office and get extention for the current one? or get Interim EAD?

Please advice. TIA.

Hopefully you will get your new EAD before the old one expires. I believe processing times are quite quick at the moment.

If the old EAD expires before the new one comes then you are out of luck I'm afraid. You cannot extend an expired EAD in anyway, and it is in general not possible to get an iEAD until the renewal has been pending for 90 days.
