Hi,I have an H1B with I 94 but no valid visa in passport,also have EAD based on NIW for same employer,left US and returned with Advance Parole,EAD expires 04/04,applied for EAD renewal 03/06 (E Filed).Once my EAD expires what is my status,is my H1B status still valid or no?Thanks

ideally you should have got your visa stamped and come back on Hi visa instead. Its usually recommemded not to use EAD in first three years, because it invalidates the H1 visa. I am not sure by same token AP invalidtes H1 visa. check with a lawyer.

Your STATUS is not dependent on having an EAD or not. Your status is defined by the fact that you have a pending I485 (a period of stay authorized by the attorney general).
Your authorization to work will expire with the EAD as your H1b non-immigrant status was invalidated by using it.
So, if your EAD expires, you could lawfully stay in the country, but you can't work. You can either wait for the EAD to come around (90 days after applying for the EAD you can get a temporary one at the local office), or you can leave and re-enter on H1b.
