EAD experience in SFO/SJC - just got Interim EAD card for 11/1 RD

I just got my temporary EAD card. I first went to SJC center with only my I765 receipt copy and the info officer advised me not to stand in line because I did not have I-485 receipt. PLEASE TAKE ALL receipt copies including your pp and H-1.

Then I went to SF and got turned down as I live in SAnta Clara county and SF doesnt service SC county.

3rd time: I went with my wife and all our papers. stood in line from 5 AM at SJC center. got in at 8:30 AM. got temp EAD cards at 11:30 ! Make sure you go around 4:30 AM or so because INS officers go for lunch break around 11:30 - we just made it before the lunch break.

Shiva did they ask photocopy of I-485 and I-765 receipt or they need original documents?

I wanted to go next week to SJC INS office to get iEAD.

How did you fill your EAD application? Is your lawyer filled it for you?

My lawyer is very hard guy and did not help me to fill the form?
