EAD experience at Atlanta Local INS

We got our EAD\'s at the Atlanta INS in Nov 00. Basically, they check to see if it has been 90 days since ND. All you need is I-485 receipt, copy of EAD application filed with the center and a new application for EAD and of course, the passport. They take pictures in the office itself and also take a fingerprint. You get your EAD in a few minutes. It was a fairly smooth process. Good Luck.

I got my EAD renewal in ATlanta INS in January second week.
Took a filled EAD app. with fee, copy of receipt for 485.
You need to take the receipt for EAD applied at one of the service centers. If you don\'t have one, try to get one or if you want to take a chance, request the IIO explaining the situation.

Went to Atlanta INS ,reached around 7AM, after standing in line for
2 hrs, came my turn to see immigration officer , he initially just refused to do anything , he said it is not under atlanta ins judicial power. He then went inside to look into database and found that my EAD is already mailed from TSC and gave me assurance that it should be reaching me anytime soon and if I don\'t receive , I should come back and he will issue me new card.
