Hi,
I am planning to renew my EAD & AP this week by applying it myself.
If anyone could reply my queries it would be of great help to me.

1) I am currently in my H1B Visa and I am planning to apply of my EAD &
AP renewal this week. I need to go to Canada for a week sometime
during early Jan 2008.
Once I apply, Should I need to stay within the country until I get
my EAD & AP approval? if not otherwise will it be considered as me
abandoning my i-485 process? Does this law apply for a person who is
currently in H1 and will enter back the country in H1B?

2) My i-485 case has been transferred from VSC to TSC. Can you please
let me know where should I be sending my EAD & AP application's
supporting documents?

Answers below:
1. If you wish to travel to Canada for less than 30 days, you may use the automatic visa revalidation (based on your approved I-797 H-1B approval notice) to re-enter. For AP, yes you should be physically present in the U.S. till it gets approved - otherwise it will be viewed as intent to abandon AP. Not sure about EAD though ... since you already have a work visa, you have the option for applying EAD after you return to the U.S.
2. You should file at TSC.
