EAD - efiling and I94 question

I am planning to file EAD 3rd time as it is expiring on June 5th 2004. I have couple of questions:
1) My I94 - H1B Visa has expired last month. H1B Extension has already been filed and I am on H1B status. My question is if I send a copy of my expired I94 - will it create any issue?

2) When we e-file the EAD - is reciept date is the today's date.

Any help will be highly appreciated.

Don't forget the other doc's i.e mainly I-140 and I-485.
