EAD e-filing Renewal at TSC

I e-filed EAD renewal based on pending I485. I mailed I140 approval notice, I485 RD notice,I612 J1 wavier approval, copies of current EAD and current EAD cutout mailer along with internet recipt. Paid by credit card when e-filed.

On July 7, 2006, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

e-EAD filing June 20/06
LUD/RD : June 22/06
FP: June June 24/06
LUD/July 7/06
LUD/July8/06 Approved

However, one of our family friend e-filed EAD renewal, did not select the supporting document mailing while e-filing.
She did not send any supporting documents. She got FP appointment and then got EAD approved at TS in 15 days.

What I feel that there may not be real need to mail any supporting documents for pending I-485 based EAD renewal, if you choose not to send supporting documents while e-filing. However provide SRC # of I140 and I485 filing in a box when you e-file EAD.
This is based on my friends experience.

Hi abhuda,

I efiled on 06/30 and sent the supporting doc on the same day. Got LUD 07/07 and have not got FP notice. Did you get hard-copy of FP notice by mail?

Read e-filing recipt carefully, it says that you have to call on 1-800 number and seek FP appointment. Have your recipt #, A# etc ready, ZIP code of ASC. No I did not get hard copy of FP notice from USCIS. Follow the info on the e-filing recipt that you have.

i applied for EAD on 07/03... and rcvd receipt on 07/08. it says
if this receipt is for an I-485 or I-698

my question now : the receipt does not say explicitly if its EAD i have to call USCIS and schedule an appointment; however i called this(800-375-5283) morning checked with rep and the rep says they will schedule and she does not see any FP scheduled for me. can you pls tell what actually u talked and list out sequene of steps
also can you verify if the 800# is same.
my ead expires 2nd week of august, so am really concerned.

also wanted to know if there is a premium processing; if there is one...can u send me the link

I have the same question as U-take-it-easy. I didnot see any specific statement about "call USCIS to sechedule an appointment " on E-filed I-765 Confirmation receipt or I797C Receipt for I765.

On E-filed confirmation receipt:
"BCIS WILL SCHEDULE YOUR APPOINTMENT to have your biometrics taken at a BCIS Application Support Center. will be receiving a biometrics appointment notice by mail with a specific date, time, and place where you will have your fingerprints and/or photo taken."

On I797C receipt:
same as what U-take-it-easy mentioned.

It seems we have to wait for separate FP notice? But I did try to call to schedule, and I get an appointment tomorrow. But I am sure if I will be allowed to take FP or not, since it seems the I797 receipt is not same from FP notice.

Please advise.

Probably they have changed procedure and giving appointment themself. It is bettter to wait for USCIS FP notice rather than scheduling and getting FP done. There is no need to worry, wait for the notice.

Received EAd today- Got it exactly valid for 12 months !!!!!!!!!

Guys,

I received my EAD today from TSC. My earlier EAd was going to expire on 10/6/06. The new EAD has valid dates from 10/7/06 to 10/6/07 exactly for 1 years. So I did not loose any months even e-filing 3 months in advance on 7/20/06. I heard some people loose time by filing 90 days in advance.
