EAD didn't trigger 140

Hi friends,

I thought filing EAD will trigger my I-140 (ND July 15, 2003).

They have mailed Notice for RFE for my EAD. They haven't touched I-140. Is there still a chance that they might be working on my I-140?

Once I get Notice, i'll post what RFE is about.

I had filed my I-140 in Mrch 2003 and my EAD is expiring in Apr 2004, have filed renewal of EAD, received receipt notice however till date no progress with I-140 or EAD - Sometimes things just dont work for you and i feel things have just stopped moving for me... Let us know when did you file for EAD renewal and when you get the RFE let us please know the details...

Rd for my 140 is May 2002
File 485 in Sept 2002.
FP 1- in Nov 2002

Received 2nd EAD in Dec 18 2003.

No change on my I-140. I am still waiting.

Talked to local Senator, got the reply saying my 140 and 485 are
Merged together
According to my attorney, this is not possible.

I am on the same boat. Received RFE on my EAD. RD is 10/28/2003.

Is reply RFE will help my 140 approval?

I have received RFE for my EAD. they ask me to submit clear photocopy of the personal data pages of my passport.

"You may also provide documentation, such as foreign passport..I-94, driver's license, military ID's....id cards issued by fed., state or local govt agencies..."

Now I understand I submit EITHER of these documention. Is it correct?

I'm going to send copy of passport, I-94 and driver's license....that's all. Should I send anything else apart from these 3 identification copies?
