EAD denied since 485 approved.

FYI:
Got letters from INS saying that since our 485s were approved they have denied without appeal...wac-03-008-53XXX for EAD.
7 months..$200...not even a nice photo ID to show for it ;)

is this your own case? How can wac-03-008 be approved? I dont get it..

Mine is wac-03-004-5xxxx

so what if wac 008 is approved before 004? Just wish him luck and hope yours will be approved soon.

Anyway I think it is tt tt's EAD application that has WAC 008.
 
Hey ...relax..

our EADs got denied since our 485s were already approved.

EAD wacs = wac-03--008-53XXX ( deined in may 03)

485 wacs = wac-02-35-52XXX ( approved in feb 03)

sorry about the confusion.
 
Thats normal. (Ead rejected coz 485 approved, though I've known people who got both, and fingerprinting later)
 
Funny..how one's perspective changes..

They had actually written a nice letter..saying why they had to deny the EADs..and they included a flyer.."Bienvendo...naturalicion..estados unidos"..basically saying that we are glad to work with you ! some one has a fiendish sense of humor over there :)
but you are right..I just tore up the notices and tossed them in the garbage bin.

When I entered on my AP this year the immigration officer was making jokes about how long I had been waiting for my green card, when asked I said "I hope I get it inside the next year". To which he laughed and said "You wish! The way immigration works here you would be very lucky too." :)
