EAD delayed due to security clearance - can i get iEAD ?

My subject pretty much sums up my question - my EAD was filed on May 3, 2005, and it has been delayed due to 'security clearnace' - that is what USCIS told in response to my expedite fax.

Can I still get an iEAD once 90 days have passed since my notice date? Can you pls post your experience.

If you did not get any RFE during this period then you can go for iEAD.
