EAD delay due to FP rescheduling?

Can somone please let us know if we reschedule the FP appointment, what effect will it have?

- Does issuing EAD card depend on FP too?
- I understand that the 485 application will be delayed, but will it still be processed as per PD or Receipt date once the FP is completed? or, because of the huge applications volume excpected in July, it will be significantly deplayed

I am new to this Forum and trying to find the same answer. Unfortunately, no one has replied back yet. However, last live chat that took place, I asked this question. The attorney said that fingerprints ("FP" in this Forum") is usually for the 485 app and should not affect EAD.

What will happen if someone files in June (with priority date being current) for the EAD as well along with 485/40/AP and then the prority date retrogresses.... Will EAD still be approved?

Any input from experts in this Forum is appreciated. Thanks!
