Hey Guys,

Does this message change? i.e. Card production mailed or something like that?

Is there any approval notice sent by USCIS to my attorney's office? and does the status message change?

Hey Guys,

Is there any approval notice sent by USCIS to my attorney's office? and does the status message change?

Here's mine:

Status on 09/25:Card production ordered
Status on 09/28:Approval notice sent
RECEIVED THE EAD CARD BY MAIL ON 10/01

Good luck

I've not seen the "Card Production Ordered" Status on my EAD. Both I and my spouse's EAD got updated with the status "Approval Notice Sent".

I see that you have done your fingerprinting - I got my notice (scanned copy) from my lawyer yesterday. My notice copy went to my old address and I have no idea where it went after that.

So, when you take the notice - what is that they look in the notice? Does taking a copy will suffice the need? I mean do they scan the Notice or anything like that? Can you share your experience, please? Thanks!

My appointment is scheduled for Oct 5th for Fingerprinting. As far as I know a copy of the appointment notice should suffice. Did not hear otherwise from anyone. All they need is proof of ID (License/Passport, etc). They can pull up your case based on the receipt number as well to validate that you are the right candidate. So, I think you should be ok. Do check with the other Gurus on this.

You have mentioned that the FP notice might have gone to your old address.
Did you move to a diff address after you applied for 485/EAD/AP ?
Did you notify USCIS about the address change via the AC11 form ?

It is extremely critical for them to have your most current address, to ensure not to miss this critical correspondence. Please check the forum on Address Change cases and act accordingly.

I did change my address via AR-11 but that doesn't change the address on the pending applications. I had to wait for the receipts before I could call USCIS and change the address. I got the receipts on the 9/25 and I called up USCIS and changed the address. The next day (9/26) the EAD message was "Card Production Ordered" - well, I am not sure where that will go?

They told me to wait 45 days for the address change on the pending applications. I think the EAD card will come to me - I would probably have to call and tell them to resend to my new address - what about AP? Lawyer or me?

And please let me know about your FP - I mean if they really do something with the original FP Notice?
