I had an affirmative asylum case and requested rescheduling for the interview. USCIS referred me to court and my EAD clock was paused at 30 days. I was told that the clock would resume once I attend the master hearing. My lawyer made an appearance in the court system and the judge cancelled the master hearing. The clock did not restart and upon contacting the court they said that the pause is from USCIS and not them? What should I do? USCIS said they’ll call me back but it’s been over a month already!
