EAD - Changing Employer - How much change of salary is too much?

Hi,

My EAD and I-140 were approved more than 6 months ago. Now I have an opportunity to join a new company.

I have these questions:

1- Generally is it recommended to not to change your employer until your I-485 is approved? (i.e. is there any risk with changing the employer?)

2- I found an article in a forum that if you are on EAD and you change your employer, in addition to the requirement that you should have (almost) the same job title/description/duty, your salary with the new employer should be also "not very different". So the question is, how much change of salary is too much? for example, 10%? or 20%?

3- Is this rule applicable only to less salary (considering the current economic situation)? or more salary is also risky for the I-485?
