My friend's EAD expired recently. He applied for EAD three months back and gave wrong address once, second time he had to move and now he gave the right address and is waiting on it. All the times the EAD was returned according to 1-800-ins number.
Unfortunately, his drivers license expired and is in trouble because of it w.r.to commuting etc.
What is the fastest way for him to get his EAD back? Can he go to Newark office and get it in a day or week? He has already called the 1-800 number and it seems he did not get any good response on follow ups?
He thinks that INS newark office may not issue as it was already issued and is in the process of delivery as per their records? Is that a right assumption?
Can you guys please suggest his next move?
