EAD - Card Production Ordered

Folks,

We have applied for our EAD Renewals and received "Card Production Ordered" notification from the Case Status Online.

Just wondering how long will it take for us to receive the cards?
USCIS mentioned to allow upto 30 days to actually receive the card, but does it really take that long?

The reason I ask is, I have a potential employer lined up and is actually waiting for me to receive the card so that I can start working for them.

You should receive it within a week or so, it usually does not take 30 days. That's just a generic message.
