EAD card and Advance Parole BEFORE filing I-485?

Hi all,
I have a couple of questions about EAD, AP and I-485:
1. Is there a deadline for filing I-485 after I-140 has been approved?
2. Can I apply for EAD and AP before filing I-485 on the basis that my I-140 has been approved? (this is because I am on J-1 which will become invalid as soon as I apply for I-485 and I won't be able to work).

1. the approval of I-140 will not expire if you don't lose the criteria.
2. EAD and AP are the benefits of pending I-485, so you are not able to file EAD and AP before filing I-485.

answer to your question is no!
I 485 is application for adjustment of status....unless you have filed petition (I-140) what are u adjusting?/?
