EAD before fingerprinting??

Hi can anyone please tell me if I can get my EAD before fingerprinting is done? My application has a received date of 13th april and till now I can not see any updates in my case status, online. it is showing june 3. 90 days will be over on 13july . Can I get my interim Id by going to the local office? I have my FP appointment on 16th august . can I go in person and request them to have my FP done?
I will really appreciate the response
 
Your application is family based? My application is family based and I have already my FP& Bio appt scheduled for Aug 10, but if I am not wrong the time to get my EAD will depend in when the FP& Bio is done plus the clearance from the FBI.
I read in other threads that people get FP appt faster in other states or depends in the state you are plus the type of application is based.

Hi thanks for the reply. Mine is family based too. I have applied in indiana. Have you got any notice of acceptance of your EAD? I can see only the case status updated on 6th june . after that no reponse. I think they are waiting for FP to be done. I have seen so many cases in this forum who have got EAD before their FP and bio is done. I do not know how. Can i get interin EAD as my 90 days will be over on 13th july and my FP appointment is on 16th aug?
