EAD at L A district Office - Timeline

July 16 - 2004 Sent I485-I765 (L A Office)
August 12 - 2004 Letter to get EAD on 9/7/2004 - 9.30AM L.A Office
Sep 7 - 2004 Got I-688B @ L A Office Appoitment at 9.30 - 10.30 I was at home with EAD
 
Did you directly file yor paper in LA office? Or CSC transfered your case to LA local office?

I think this type of EAD ( I-688B) is not for usual folks like us who go thru Emp based GC and CSC.
Its for family based folks ... I believe they need to submit directly to the local office ?!?
 
First I got my I-130 done at CSC, after waiting 10 months.
On july 16 I sent I-485 and I-765 to Los Angeles District Office.
