EAD Approved!!

I don't believe TSC, Just today I was checking our EAD stauts and it says:

On January 2, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

For both of us, RD/ND was Nov 18'03 and status changed for both of us together. Current EAD is expiring on 04/04. What the hell, wasted 4 months.

Anyways, good news.

I hope to receive the card in next week.

now a days eads effective validity dates are after expiry of current dates. So no need to worry..
 
Not in all cases

Hi sss234,
It is not a must that EAD extension will be issued from the old EAD expired day. My 1st EAD is going to expire in Mar 04 and I got my renewal approved on 12/19/03 and is valid thru 12/19/04.
 
I saw lot of postings that eads are issued after expiry of current one. So, the inconsistency is continuing.

No need to worry about the dates. I got mine approved last month and the dates are 4/xx/04-4/xx/05.
