EAD approved !!

1st time EAD at VSC

RD : 07-17-03
ND : 07-31-03

Just now checked status . It says -

This case has been approved. On December 16, 2003, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address.

My husband's status message says -

On December 12, 2003, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

1) Why two different messages ? What does they mean ?

2) Who will receive the EAD - me or my attorney ? I filled G-28 form for EAD .

1) Why two different messages ? What does they mean ?
This case has been approved, means you should get your card in 5-6
business days by mail. Remember its Xmas time, give yourself a week.
2) Who will receive the EAD - me or my attorney ? I filled G-28 form for EAD .
You will receive the physical EAD card and attorney will receive the
approval notice.
