EAD renewal Finally Approved

EAD details :

RD: 12/13/02
ND: 12/19/02
AD: 02/06/03

The case was approved on Feb 6th but both the Online and AVR system still say: received on December 19th .... being processed blah...blah..." !! The previous EAD expired on 02/12/03

My advise: Call INS and speak with an Imm. Officer or Visit your district INS office to get the Case Status. Almost lost a job depending on this online system. DO NOT base your decisions on the Online or Automated Voice Response system case status.

I am in the similar boat. I was forced by my client to join and I am joining on 02/18/03. My EAD expires on 03/29/03 and renewal was applied on 01/17/03. Now my question is is approval enough or we have to have plastic card in hand to continue job.

How did you come to know that you are approved?
