EAD approved !!!

When I call INS help line, it says my EAD is approved and
it may take 120 days to actually to receive the card.

It\'s not 90 days passed, since I filed for EAD. Can I go to local
INS office and get my passport stamped with EAD (since the help
line says the EAD is approved) ?

A local INS office will NOT issues EAD card until 3 months are past. This happened to one of my coleagues who was about to finish his 6 year period on H1B. He tried to get EAD card before he completed 6 years. Local INS office refused to give him EAD one week before the completion of the 3 month period. He was told to come back at the end of the 3 month period.
