guys my ead applied on march 19 is approved. hopefully it will be delivered unlike my wifes whch was sent back due to wrong address....even though same place for 4 years

I need help on interim ead for wife any idea what is the process and where is the centre in dallas

I guess you filed EAD manually and not e-file. I e-filed in early March and still waiting.

I do not know about Dallas but I would say take following documnets just in case, (you will be asked only few)

1. A new 765 application
2. Original 765 receipt
3. 485 receipt
5. Photo ID (Driver license or Passport)
6. original and copies of old EADs (some officers get upset if you don't carry the copies)

tombaan,

when i was there for stamping, there were 2 people ahead of me waiting to get iEAD. They just told the guard (who questions everyone as to why they are there) that they had to get iEAD. Took tokens and went inside. U need to show that you are over 90 days and still waiting. The location is the same office on I-35 at Empire Central.

BTW, i read on the other posts that you could not walk in anymore at the dallas office and have to get an appointment through the online scheduler on the uscis website

hope this helps

The dallas office does not accept walk-in. A collegue of mine just got some experience last week. He had to go there three times, half a day each time, to get an temperary card that is valid for two months. He is renewing his H1 now to elliminate this hassle again.

Tombaan,
for dallas office, you have to use infopass scheduler, it is on the uscis website.

As per documents, of course carry everything whatever you can think of - like paystubs etc. (if your wife is working)
But based on the documents they asked us last week at the Arlington, VA office were

1> a filed I-765 application
2> Your current I-765 receipts
3> 485 receipt
4> proof of residency - driving license or some service bill etc.

We spend 6 hours standing in queues ( 5 lines in all) but with appointment using Infopass, you should be better off.
I think jxg1999 used infopass but still had to wait for some hours.
