EAD approved on AVM - July 18th - Still not received

EAD approved on AVM - Jun 18th - Still not received

My wife's EAD was approved according to AVM on Jun 18th after we sent the RFE reply ( photos missing)

The AVM now says " We have ordered for the CARD - will take 120 days - blah blah .."

Question: Is there anybody here whose EAD was approved around the same date and has not yet received the CARD or has received it ?

Question 2: My lawyer says that since the EAD is approved I cant go to Local San Jose INS and get an iEAD. Is that right ?

EAD cards are getting a lot delayed..

since march 02 EAD approval to card is more than 2 months, check messages from Nikhila Kodali etc.

If you already applied for EAD , you cannot get iEAD. In your case you already got it approved so it is even more complicated...
 
can I sponsor

I got my EAD approved yesterday. With this can I sponsor somebody from India or I need to wait on my Card
 
sponsor someone's H1 you mean? or someone's GC?

I guess to sponsor someone's H1 you should have a company and it should be in the good books of INS and IRS, I guess.

And to sponsor somebody's gc you need to get yours first, I guess
 
Wait till the message changes.

After sometime the AVM will say that " The case has been approved"

You will get your card after that.
 
Approved JUL-09 (AVM) Card valid from 07/03. Rcvd by lawyer 07/18

Check with your lawyer to see if they have specified their address instead of yours. Mine was sent to the lawyer.

tt tt : It is untrue, you can get iEAD when 1. You have applied for EAD and 2. Its been 90 days ever since

You don't get iEAD if you EAD has been approved (it does not matter whether or not you have received actual cards).

Cards may take 3-4 weeks after approval to arrive (if you are represented by lawyer, I think, INS will sent it to your lawyer).
