EAD Approved, but lost in Postal Mail

My first EAD has been expired on Aug 4th 2004. I have applied for 2nd EAD on Jun 28th. It was approved on Aug 28th. I did not receive the card in mail. I have contacted BCIS and they are asking me to file new application with new application fee.

I am still on payroll. My question is, can I continue to be on payroll even if I did not receive the EAD? Is it good idea to come out of payroll?

I am in the same situation. My current EAD is going to expire on dec 18th. EAD got renewed on nov 18th and not yet recived in mail. Already 8 days and really worried.

I have interim EAD till May 2005 . I am planning to continue to work on this and apply new EAD card.

Any suggestions?
