HI guys,

I received my EAD cards yesterday. my ND was sep 03,

but the bad thing is those cards were dispatched at my old address and they were forwarded by my postoffice to my New address.

I already sent address change form with the return receipt to INS but still they messed up and sent cards at the old address.

any suggestions.

Thanks in Advance

HI MOHITS_76

I think you submitted the AR-11 form. I did the same and my lawyer asked me to call the USCIS and also let them know about the address change which I did. My EAD was approved today. Let's see which address do they send it to.

Sending AR-11 is not enough if you have any pending applications.

You need to call National customer service number (1-800-375-LATE) and inform them about the change of address. They will ask you your Alien Number, and EAC numbers for all pending applications. So your address will be changed on all pending applications.

address change before applying for EAD?

Hu guys

I moved to my new address in August 2003 and I filed AR-11 after a couple of weeks. Then I filed for my EAD on Sep 27 2003
with my new address. The cards came to my new address
just within 4 days after approval (Jan 23 2004).

Did you guys change the address after applying for EAD?
If it is so then there is a possibility that it will go to the old
address. I don't think BCIS see AR-11 forms at all.
My finger print notice came to my old address in the first week
of November 2003 (I filed AR-11 in August 2003 itself) but somehow that letter was forwarded to my new address by the
post office itself. It didn't go back to BCIS at all.

May be it is a good idea to call them and inform them about the
address change. It is important for EAD and AP cases whereas
for I-140 it is not as the attorney gets the document.

USCIS customer service center number - 1-800-375-5283 = 1-800-375-LATE ...!!

What a coincident "LATE" & "5283" ...!!!

Hi Mohit,
Was your EAD card forwarded by your post office to your new address? Some people say that USCIS letters are not forwarded.
Pls clarify
Thanks
