EAD approved but card not received

Hello all,

This webiste has been of amazing help earlier as well, and once again I am at a loss so need your help.

When I chcek the EAD status online, it says it was approved on July 16 and the notice was mailed to me, and I should get back to the BCIS incase I do not receive it in 30 days. Well, I ahve'nt received it in 30 days and all i got form BCIS was wiat some more time, but noone was able to guide me if the card had been posted or not.

My question - what do i do, has the card been misplaced in the mail? if yes how do I get a replacement?? do I ahve to start the whole process again and wiat another 8 months??
please please guide me..also can I start working based on the approval notice online or do I need a physical card in hand. Am really lost and would appreciate all help.

Exactly the same thing happened to me too. I got my approval message on May 6th 2003 and haven't received neither the notice or card. Its already over 4 months now. Do I need to file again.

I called BCIS many times, but of no use. Please help if someone also has the same problem.
 
Just a suggestion. Check I-9 form. It says if you are not in possession of card. You can either give some number then start working. But you should submit with 90 days.

Better to confirm with some one before using that clause.
