EAD approved at TSC. any idea how to activate it? pl help.

EAD RD : Feb 28-2001, ND Mar 5-2001. Approved Apr 3, EAD card received today(Apr 10).

My case is at TSC. EB3, India, PD:July 97, 485 RD Aug25\'99, ND Oct25\'99, FP Dec 99, first EAD Dec99. Still on H1, will move to EAD when my H1 expires(6 years) by end of this month.

If anybody has any idea about the procedure(I-9) involved in switching from H1 to EAD, please let me know. I would be continuing with the same employer after switching on to EAD. What will the employer do to activate my EAD? Would like to know from any one familiar with this procedure.

as soon as you receive the EAD you can start working on it. there is no activation procedure. when you get it it\'s already \'active\' and ready for use. you don\'t have to do anything to switch from the H1 to the EAD, just keep working as usual.
