EAD Approved at last after 148 days.....Still No sign of AP (VSC)

Just wanted to let you know
My EAD got approved just now at 7PM. I just received 2 e-mails stating the following info:

On July 20, 2004, after approving your application, we ordered you a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready.

I was checking my status all these days and also since morning and there is no sign of anything. I checked at 6:45 PM after returning home from work and there was nothing, so I cursed the USCIS guys for not approving it today also, but around 7:15 PM I noticed 2 e-mails from USCIS and opened them to find that my EAD was approved today. But there is no sign of my AP Approval still.
For those of you who want to know, here are my details:

I-485/EAD/AP/VSC (Non concurrent I-140 Approved 22 Jan 2004)
RD: 24 Feb 2004
ND: 27 Feb 2004

WAIT STARTS

FRUSTRATED WAIT

June 7: Initiated inquiry on AP as their published processing dates have gone 30 days past my AP RD

ANXIOUS WAIT

June 10: RFE issued on EAD/AP for clear copies of passport and/or DL

June 17: RFE received by Attorney

EASY RFE WAIT

June 28: Attorney replied to RFE (included scanned color copies of both old and new passports and both expired photo and current non photo driver's licenses)

RESPONDED WAIT

June 30: RFE response received by USCIS for both EAD and AP (website updated)

WEB SITE UPDATED WAIT

WAIT CONTINUES

There U Go!!!!!

20 JULY: EAD APPROVED

ANXIOUS AP APPROVAL WAIT CONTINUES & HAPPY EAD CARD WAIT CONTINUES

AP APPROVED: ?????

I-485 WAIT CONTINUES......................................

In 6 to 8 months EAD/AP Renewal WAIT

This is NOT the END..........BUT the BEGINNING

Man, my EAD got approved today too. Explorer19, we are really in the same boat. I bet that my AP will be approved on the same day as yours.

NO news yet ... :-( It's amazing a simple EAD/AP is now taking ~6 months or more if an RFE is issued!
 
You guys are still better off ...

My EAD/AP applications have been pending for 9 months now ... :mad:

Response received 02/18/03. Nothing since ...
Status inquiry submitted 05/13/04 and 06/11/04
I got a letter recently that it has been delayed due to security checks!

I think I have posted my dates on another thread where your dates were posted too, and if my memory serves me right, our dates conincide very well.

485/EAD/AP: ~Feb 24 2004
EAD/AP RFE: ~June 16 2004
RFE Replies Received: ~June 25 2004
EAD Appr: July 20 2004

AP: ????
485: ????
 
Hey Guys

My Ap got approved today. I was checking the status since morning and just now I checked at around 8:50 PM and the message says that my AP got approved. But strangely, I did not get any e-mail from USCIS.

EAD approval took 148 days
AP approval took 150 days

Wow what a speed processing!!!!!

My AP were approved too today. Given the processing/approval dates of our cases, I think that out cases are likely bundled together.

Please keep us posted any progress in your 485.
 
Hi guys

I received my EAD card yesterday 26 July 2004. It was mailed on 23 July 2004.
AP approved on 22 July and approval notice was mailed on 23 July. Still waiting for AP
