EAD Approved and Card Ordered Production!

I had applied for my EAD (I-765) on November 22nd (ND) and did my biometrices during the first week of December. I didnt see any LUD change after my biometrices were received and I was worried since my EAD is expiring on 25th Feb as I might need to stay off my work after that.

Day before yesterday, I did see a LUD change, but no change in message. Today, I saw another LUD change, and when I looked at it, I found that my EAD is approved and card is ordered for production. It gives me a great sigh of relief.. It looks like it took around 2.5 months to get my EAD approved. I am still waiting to get my EAD on hand.

Approximately how long does it take to get the card in hand once its ordered?

YES, its MSC.

Is it after this an approval email would come in, or is this the final email. How long does it take to get the card on hand after this message.

Did u get yr EAD yet in your hands? My RD is 22nd Nov also at NBC and on LUD have changed in last 2 weeks.
 
Were your FP's Valid.
OR Did you do your FP( ten prints) aswell. The reason Iam asking in on this forum someone wrote that the local office told them thier EAD was not renwed because thier Back ground check was not complete.
Iam just trying to ascertain if there is indeed any relation.
I am glad MSC is is finally moving. MY date is is Dec4th. Hopefully they would get our renewal by next week.
 
I am waiting from 11/13 at MSC .. Have not seen any LUD since 11/17. My bometrics were on 11/27 and the local office told me that they count the 90 days from date of biometrics were done.

I think you should file a expedite request to MSC or to your Senator.
I dont think this true that they count from the Biometrics date.
This is like saying your PD for I485 is set when you do your FPS for that.
YOur RD is your date.
Also is it renewal or first time EAD

EAD question

I filed myI485, I130, and EAD in Dec. I received all my receipts and did FP.January 15 I got a request for more documents for my I 485, does that mean that my EAD will be pending until they get the info? Is it 90 days for EAD from the time they get the info for the I485?
Please let me know, I can't sleep.

Thanks Al_AOS i am planning to send the expedite requests today. This is my 3rd EAD renewal application ( 4th EAD). This is though the first time i had to actually apply to a service center. Previous one's all done at local office in a week time. Now even EAD renewals are getting unreliable.

well when i called the customer service they tell me the processing dates for MSC are at oct 30 th still and my case is not out of their normal processing times. Everyone seems to have their own version of EAD processing.

I did my biometrics at local office but just thumb was done along with a pic. Yesterday, I received my EAD card. I am expecting my wife's card sometime today. Will keep you posted. Thanks!

Yes. I just cancelled my docter's appointment. :)

I am a very dramatic person. I watch lot of movies and I have a tendency to get easily influenced. :cool:

I have recently applied for EAD renewal. Is there any grace period in which one can still work after EAD expiration or one should stop working as soon as EAD expires and remain unemployed till new EAD comes.

Plain and Simple. You need stop working the day your EAD expires and start working only after your EAD gets approved and when you physically receive your card on hand.
