EAD approved 2 weeks after GC approval !!

Today I received email from USCIS saying my EAD (which I applied on 12/08) is approved.

is this normal. Do I need to return back the EAD ?

Ignore that and ENJOY GC. I can tolerate 7.0 earthquake also if my GC is approved.

man, you confused them! why did you apply for EAD after being approved ?

Now I can understand, he couldn't believe his GC approval was for real and he didn't want to miss his EAD in the meanwhile.
