EAD Approval Duration

Hi,
I got my EAD approved with 15 months duration. My understanding is that USCIS approves always 12 months.
Not sure if I should call them or it is just fine.
This is my third EAD

PLease let me know if some of you have see this random approval duration.
I am planning to call and ask this to vermont USCIS.
 
06/23/2006: Termination of Issuance of EAD Cards at the Local District Offices by October 1, 2006

USCIS is planning to terminate the local district offices' processing and issuance of EAD cards, including Interim EAD cards for the two reasons: The EAD production machines at the local district offices are very very old and do not meet the system requirement for production of sensitive ID documents. The other reason is that the USCIS may reduce the processing times of EAD cards and other documents such that no issuance of the Interim cards may be necessary. Besides, the USCIS still intends to issue EAD cards valid for a period longer than one year for "certain" types of cases that suffer from delays or retrogressions. Currently the termination of local district offices' card production is scheduled at October 1, 2006.

Actually I got my EAD directly and hoping that they have started issuing EADs longer than 1 year and 15 months is starting point and not a typo or printing mistake.
I really dont know what can I argue about that other then calling them and asking.
But I guess your advice is probably true that they are issuing longer than 1 year EAD now.
 
Can you post your details like when you applied and recieved EAD? Mine got approved on June 22nd and waiting for card to be recieved in the mail.
 
EAD cars

It generally take 4-5 business days to get these stuff. I got mine in 5 days.
your AP will come toyour attorney.

When did you guyz apply for EAD ? How much time did it take for approval ? Is your new EAD valid from the day your old EAD expires ?
 
I applied my 3rd EAD E-FILED Self on May 10th 2006 and approved on June 22nd. Waiting for Card to recieve in Mail. My 2nd EAD was from the start date of the Old EAD End date. I am hoping the same this time.
 
Yes i recieved the card today and got approved for exactly 1 year. Also my start date on the card is old EAD Card end date.
