EAD approval and H1-B validity

Hi! Everybody

I am planning to apply EAD. After I get the EAD will my H1-B will automatically invalid? or only if I use EAD for some other work (not with the present employer) then only the H1-B is no longer valid.

Please help me.

Getting an EAD/AP does not cancel your H1 status. Only if you use it your H1 is no longer valid.
