EAD application transfer

When my wife applied for an EAD to VSC, we got an email update as under.

"On January 12, 2005, we transferred your I765 APPLICATION FOR EMPLOYMENT AUTHORIZATION to an office in TEXAS SERVICE CENTER for processing. Our office in TEXAS SERVICE CENTER will send you a written decision as soon as processing is complete. You should receive a notice informing you that your case has been transferred to a local office. Please call the National Customer Service Center at (800) 375-5283 to receive information about local office processing times."
 
Don't worry much about it,

All I remember that u sent texss (under C9) twice and they didn't accept, and recommended you to file VSC.

Did VSC sent u any receipt since u filed?

it seems to me that they did accept but because of C-9 (texas haven't transfer ur 485 to VSC). (my personal opinion). the VSC transfered or keep transfer all EAD+AP untill they (VSC) get official 485 Transfer from TSC to them.(I can understand this is very painful situation for u both)
(many ppl do avoid this kind of situation by using old address or same Service center zone using relative/friend address). and living other state.

So now VSC did accept because the letter TSC sent u, but VSC officialy transfered ur case to Texas (local office) due to C-9 reason. VSC doesn't have 485 yet from TSC.

it is confusing situation but, Wait for receipt they would send u, and a letter(transfer) from Texas(Local office). where ur spouse EAD app they are holding. atleast u know that they accepted ur case and where ur case is.

if u don't receive any transfer letter do contact the Texas local office.

If you have only receipt and 90 days gone u can claim ur local INS office for interm EAD.

I thank you for your comments. People like you in this forum solace several people that are undergoing this painful process. You are right. TSC previously returned her EAD application twice asking us to apply to VSC. When applied to VSC, they sent back to TSC as they have not received her I-485 transfer files from TSC. My application is with still TSC and they approved my EAD inspite of address change. But we do not know anything about mine or her I-485 transfers or process. By the by our filing date (I-485) is 3rd March and we filed for AC21 after 15 months.
