EAD Application Staus Message

I have applied for my 2nd EAD. With in 3 days, I received the receipt notice on June 13th 2003. And the online message says
"On June 13, 2003, after approving your application, we ordered a new card. Your card will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready".


But last year when I applied for my ist EAD, I got the following message after 3 months from the notice date.

"
This case has been approved. On September 25, 2002, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours."


So this time also, Can I expect a message like last year that your card is approved & mailed something like that.
Or Will I expect a card now itself in the mail? I don't know what is the procedure. If anybody recently applied and received EAD, please clarify me.

My case is same as yours.

This means that they have ordered your card. They will mail it to you as soon its ready and then they change the online message as follows:

"
This case has been approved. On June 13, 2003, an approval notice was mailed. If 14 days have passed and you have not received this notice, you may wish to verify or update your address. To update your address, please speak to an Immigration Information Officer during business hours."


You will get your card soon..

What will be the validity of card? Will it be for June13'2003 to June12'2004 ? Or from the date it will be mailed?
If it is june 13th 2003, then i will be loosing 3 and 1/2 months in the first EAD.
