EAD application fee refund!

I have applied for EAD renewal three months back and never approved and paid $120.00, while EAD, approval was pending my Green Card approved. My question is can I get that money back that I sent to INS-VSC. In another word will INS refund to me if do the enquery by any chance?

Just a thought... In case you had done eFiling and paid the fee with a credit card, file a dispute claim with your credit card company. That might help and INS should realize that they are not GOD !!! If they are incompetent in providing timely serivce and not providing service to their customers then they have to return the fee. There is no excuse for them, else face revoking fee claims from various credit card companies.

A very close friend of mine had a similar situation, in her case she did not receive the EAD after waiting for around 7-8 months and she also wrote letters to BCIS for the same. However, in the meantime she got her 485 approved, stamped and after few weeks received a letter from BCIS with the refund amound :).
