I current have a current H1B extension approval notice (I have my previous H1B visa stamped on my passport, but it has expired). I have applied for I-485 and it is pending. I currently have not applied for EAD or AP. I need some help in deciding just that.
1. I am planning to go to India in March of next year. My question is should I apply for EAD/AP or not? Can I get my H1B extension visa stamped at a consulate in India even though I have my EAD/AP and then enter on that H1B extension visa?
2. If my H1B extension visa application is rejected for some reason, can I use the AP to enter the U.S.?
3. If I do get my EAD/AP, can I still continue on my H1B if I have not used the EAD/AP for job or re-entry?
