Hello Friends!!

Am on EAD valid till May 2014. I am in EB2I category with I485 pending and will be on Disney Cruise for 3 days in Bahamas from Disney Florida. My questions are:

1) What should I carry with me beside my current EAD card and I94 (white one) to return back to US.

2) Do I need to carry all the previous immigration papers such as H1B etc.

Please advice what caution I should take.

Gratefully yours

Is your EAD a combination EAD/Advance Parole card? If not, you can't use that EAD as an entry document; you'll need a separate Advance Parole document, or a valid H1B visa (or the H1B approved petition, if you're Canadian).

You'll also need your passport.

To visit the Bahamas you may also need a visa issued by the government of the Bahamas, depending on your country of citizenship.

Thanks Jackolantern!!

Thanks Jackolantern!! I have EAD/AP combo card but my current H1B expired on May 20 2013, However yesterday I received receipt of my H1B renewal petition. Do you think I should carry that too. Just in case along with my passport. And yes I do have Bahamas visa. Thank you a bunch as you had helped me on several occasions. May God bless you.:)
