EAD /AP : Can we do it ourselves ?

My Lawyer is charging heavily for my and spouse's EAD-AP.
Can we do this ourselves. Is it complex?
Since earlier I had signed to represent this lawyer, will the INS have any objections if I do this myself. I would still like my lawyer to represent me for all other RFE's.

U can do it urselves.

You can do it yourself and BCIS/INS will not object to it. It is very simple, a no brainer.

I did it myself

It is very easy. Do it yourself. I did it myself and got both EAD and AP with no problems.

EAD/AP are 2 of the simplest applications to submit to the BCIS. You can do it yourself. BCIS does not care as long as they receive the payment and the form is complete with signature.

Does it matter if you file AP/EAD/485 with a lawyer and then later do it by ourselves for AP/EAD extensions? Is there any chance that BCIS will look for the previous lawyers of that case and issue a query?

No problem in filing for AP/EAD extensions on ur own, even if the prev ones were filed by the lawyer.
