EAD, AP and H4

Hi, We have just applied for 140 and 485 concurrently and also EAD for my wife. Our H visas are valid until May 31,2004. My wife is planning to travel to india this month and return by 1st week next month. In the meantime we discovered her EAD is approved. We were planning that she will travel using H4. We have not applied for AP. Is there going to be a problem to travel using H4 because EAD is approved. or, in other words, Does approval and receipt of EAD automatically warrant the need of AP to travel? Please reply ASAP.

Just receiving EAD does not change the non-immigrant status in any way and she is still on H4.
