EAD and Unpaid Leave

Hello -

I am on EAD, I485 pending since 2003 (EB3, India, PD August 2002). Is anyone aware of any issues with being on EAD and taking 2 weeks of unpaid leave from the company to travel oversees ?

Check with the human resource of your company. My employer said I can take up to 6 weeks unpaid leave.

I meant issues related to being 'out of status' or something along those lines with regards to immigrations.

Company's HR is fine with me taking unpaid leave. Not sure about USCIS.

As long as the employer keeps your employment, I don't see any issue regarding your immigration status.
