I was arrested and detained by ICE, bailed out on $30000, and given I-94 form which has "Under Docket Control" written across. I overstayed my H-1B status. I have a court date Feb 2008, but I must work to support myself until then. I am applying for employment authorization, but I am not sure if I qualify. The form asks for my current status and ground for eligibility. How do I answer them? Please help.
