EAD and starting own company???

I have my EAD ( My wife is the primary GC Applicant - so both of us have our EADs). I am working at Company X ( I have a H1 through them).

Now, if we start a LLC, JoeF - you say I cannot even take out trash if I am on H1. But doesn't EAD enable me to work in 2 companies? - Meaning my employer continues my service ..(he can withdraw my H1 if required)..and I can start this company???

If yes..I presume my wife cannot be a part of it..since she is primary applicant for GC.

- what does one mean by `using EAD..as opposed to using H1' - isn' that only for travel purposes and seek new jobs?
 
Hello,

If both of you have EAD, you, your wife or both can start the company, work in the company, sell pop corn, bar-tending, what ever, work in 5 other companies if you have energy.

Your current employer might have issues with you moon lighting, so you might want to check that side though.

Am thinking of offering my services to my current employer, through this LLC.
Meaning, it is a corp-to-corp arrangement.
That way, I could take care of tax deductions.

I am hoping that would work.

Regarding Moonlighting - Most employers pretty much are unable to control employees doing that..or working part-time.
