EAD and second income

Hi All,
I have been pushing this waiting for my approval but now that i lost hope i wanted to delink my life from GC.

I am on EAD and i started helping my friend who has a small business with my thechnical consulting service. I am hearing advise from them that it will be better if i can start a small company(with only myself) of my own so that payment will be easy and can get some tax breaks.

I do have a regular day job with my sponsoring employer which i plan to continue anyway. I wonder if there is any risk opening a small biz with my name while on EAD.

Any insight will be highly appreciated.
 
EAD can work for more than one employer even not work for you sponsor. remember LC is for future job/position, when it is approved. lot of ppl think they have to be working for the sponsor when applying, not necessary.

I wonder is there any restriction on which kind of company i can open. Some people were saying you can't open an SCorp with EAD.

Any insights please.

Thank you for your reply. Could you please let me know what kind of company one can open when on EAD?

I saw your reply that one can sure open a company while on EAD, other than the issue you sighted about moonlighting, are there any hidden risks from Immigration point of view?
