EAD and part-time work

My wife who's on H4 has got a job which is part-time(20hrs/wk). Can she work part-time if she switches to EAD?
Also, can she be without any work on an EAD? or does she have to work all the time on an EAD?
Help will be appreciated.

Of course if she have I485 pending and EAD approved.

Of course she can do whatever she wants if you keep your status OK.
