My spouse and I are in the same profession. My spouse is the primary applicant under EB2. Priority date March 2005. I485 pending, I140 approved - 1 year ago.
Both of us have EAD and AP. We have applied for EAD renewal (current EAD expires Oct 12, 2006)
Now, Can I purchase a business in my profession. If I start a second business in the same field can I employ my wife there? The place I am planning to open my business is highly underserved for that field. Will I have to prove that I can pay her the minimum wages?? I know it will do well enough to pay her the minimum wages but it is new.. how will I prove it??
