EAD and Message Change

Today I checked the status in online and got the message that my EAD is approved on May 6th and for I485 the FP report is received.

My wife received the card 4 days after the approval and me got after two weeks of the approval. Two times the status message would be changed

approved first then after week or so say cards issued count from there 3-5 bussiness days

Explanation for message status

AS soon as the case was approved, the status will be like "After approving this case, a new card has been ordered and it will be mailed to you as soon as it is ready".

Then once the card is mailed, the message will be like" This case has been approved on ... . If you do not receicve the notice within 14 days call the IIO and update the address.

This is what we got for our cases. I think everybody will get this messages.

I 140 applied on May 6th 2002
Approved on Nov 11, 2002
I 485 RD on March 11 2003
FP done on April 11th
TSC is the service center
EAD approved on May 6th, 2003, however I have not received card
