EAD and IEAD

Hi all,

I e-filed my EAD on 10/29/2003 and till now I haven't heared anything about it other than the receipt notice.
I went to Boston office to get IEAD on 01/29/2004 and they gave me an IEAD till Sept 2004.

Do I need to apply for a new EAD soon or shall I wait ????

I am in the same boat. But the official date is not yet Oct 29. Wait till then atleast.
 
If you don't get EAD in 11 mo. that would be a record of sorts. You will have have to sue BCIS etc- if that happens.

Hi alphagc,

No you don't need to apply for another one.BCIS probably knows that your case will be approve on or before sep/2004,maybe that is the reason they gave you iEAD till that date.
Take a look here,we have similar dates:

RD:02/01/2002
ND:02/15/2002
FP 1:04/18/2002
TD to NYC:01/06/2003
Biometrics:01/16/2004
"3rd" EAD:02/2004
No FP2,no RFE yet.


By the way:Did they transfer your case?
 
NO they didn't

They didn't transfer my case. When I went to get my IEAD. the lady on the counter said I should hear soon from USCIS since I did my FP2 and since then I haven't heared anything from USCIS.

I got my IEAD on 01/29/2004
